[GFCA] Winter Cat Virtual Tournament

Hello friends,

Valdosta has chosen to offer a virtual tournament opposite the Emory
Barkley Forum.  The idea is to keep our students who are not able to
compete at Emory in practice and getting ready for the First and Second
year State Championships the first weekend in February.  We are keeping all
costs low - $5/person per entry.

Speech - will be asynchronous.  Topic areas and prep times will be released
next week.
Debate  - will be live on Saturday.

Student judges - we are encouraging Debate coaches to enter student judges
and towards that end, we will have a ballot review by a college coach and a
retired high school coach for each debate event/division and give student
judge awards.  This will give your students a chance to practice judging at
a lower stakes tournament.
