We are eleven days away from the <span>GFCA</span> Varsity State Championship. We will be naming the 2012 <span>Coach</span>(es) <span>of</span> the <span>Year</span>
 at the State Tournament. The nomination process is open for ten days 
prior to the tournament. Nominations are due by March 2, 2012 to 
Jeffrey Miller (<a href="mailto:jmill126@gmail.com" target="_blank">jmill126@gmail.com</a>) and Richard Bracknell (<a href="mailto:richard.bracknell@carrolltoncityschools.net" target="_blank">richard.bracknell@carrolltoncityschools.net</a>) .
 The official ballots will be sent out on March 3, 2012 and voting will end on Wednesday March 7th. There will be no voting at the State Tournament, so please turn in your ballots early and before the tournament. </p><span style="color:rgb(0,0,0)">

We will again be giving two (2) <span>Coach</span> <span>of</span> the <span>Year</span> Awards. One is dedicated to a <span>coach</span> <span>of</span> speech events and one is dedicated to a <span>coach</span> <span>of</span> debate events.</p>

Recipients are then selected based on the following criteria:<br>(1) The candidate is in good standing with the <span>GFCA</span>.<br>(2) The candidate demonstrates enthusiasm for forensic activities.<br>(3) The candidate has a high regard and respect for the students s/he works with.<br>



(4) The candidate has a high regard and respect for fellow coaches.<br>(5) The candidate works toward the improvement <span>of</span> the <span>GFCA</span> and forensic activities in Georgia.<br>(6) The candidate promotes interest in interscholastic forensic activities through the strength <span>of</span> her/his program.<br>



(7) The candidate has acquired the respect <span>of</span> the students s/he works with as well as other students in the community.</p><p style="border-width:0px;outline-width:0px;vertical-align:baseline;background-color:transparent;margin:1px 0px 15px;padding:2px;font-size:1.2em;color:rgb(0,0,0)">
