<font color='black' size='2' face='arial'><font class="Apple-style-span" size="2">My students are concerned that our schedule sets up the possibility for six rounds (if debaters wish to debate all the way to finals) on Saturday. We have made the trophies for the final four (semi-finals) co-champion trophies, so I think that is less likely to happen than it was last year. We have also set up some protocols that should make the transition from Inman over to Grady faster. The students also floated the possibility of setting up a hidden quarter-final round in place of round 5 if we fall behind. Holden has calculated the math and assured me that there would not be a significant difference. I would only be willing to do the hidden quarters if there is a "clear break" between the 8 and 9 seeded teams. What do you think? Please e-mail me if you are going to be at Grady, and you have strong feelings about the issue.</font>
