As a coach, I feel as though the packet has been a tremendous success in Georgia Debate. It has helped students learn the basics and has created a more even playing field at the novice level. The numbers in our novice divisions are a great testament to this success. With that in mind, I still feel as though the first year division should be free of any restrictions. To continue with this growth, we must encourage students to expand their knowledge and argument base as they progress.
