<div>In September, the GFCA added an affirmative to the packet - Space Colonization.  We used the Middle School packet version for this affirmative.  Included in the Colonization case negative is a <u>Spending Disadvantage</u> that novices are permitted to read in novice divisions.   Answers to the Spending DA can be found in the Colonization Aff file.</div>
<div><br></div><div>To help clarify this disadvantage, I have created a separate file you can now download on the GFCA site (or download the attachment here) that includes all of the Spending DA evidence from the Colonization files.  </div>
<div><br></div><div>To summarize:</div><div>Novices can read one of the following four affirmatives: Solar Powered Satellites, Constellation, Asteroid Mining or Colonization.</div><div>Novices can read one or more of the following disadvantages: China Soft Power, Tradeoff, Launches, and/or Spending.</div>
