competing in the novice division at UGA this weekend.  The novice division

at this tournament does NOT utilize the <st1:country-region w:st="on"><st1:place

 w:st="on">Georgia</st1:place></st1:country-region> novice packet/rules. 

Competitors in the novice division should be prepared to answer arguments that

are not in the packet such as counterplans, kritiks, and theory. Also,

competitors may run affirmatives and advantages that are not in the novice

packet. Hopefully, this e-mail will help avoid any major surprises during the 1<sup>st</sup>
