[GFCA] Fwd: 2018 American Legion assigned topics are out

Here are the assigned topics for the 2018 American Legion Oratorical
Contest.  Please encourage your students to compete - this is a great
opportunity for our students.  It has now been 20 years since we had a
national winner from Georgia!  Let's end this drought.  :-)

the Contest.

*Assigned Topics for 2018 Oratorical Contest*

*Amendment 2*

A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state,
the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed.

*Amendment 3*

No soldier shall, in time of peace be quartered in any house, without the
consent of the owner, nor in time of war, but in a manner to be prescribed
by law.

*Amendment 15*

Section 1.
The right of citizens of the United States to vote shall not be denied or
abridged by the United States or by any state on account of race, color, or
previous condition of servitude.

Section 2.
The Congress shall have power to enforce this article by appropriate
legislation.

*Article 2 Section 4*

The President, Vice President and all civil Officers of the United States,
shall be removed from Office on Impeachment for, and Conviction of,
Treason, Bribery, or other high Crimes and Misdemeanors.
