[GFCA] Varsity State-- at Northview High School

Hi everyone,
We’re excited to host you at Northview HS this weekend for the Varsity State tournament.  A few things I wanted to make sure you knew:
1. Our school is still in session until 3:30 on Friday, so please do not enter the building until that time.  The busses load students around 3:37 pm and are usually headed out of the parking lot at about 3:45 pm.  With about 1900 students, that means that traffic will be very congested right at 3:30 as people are heading out of school.
2.  When you arrive, busses can park in the regular parking lots when cars have left—the best likelihood for early parking space is going to be on the steep hill parking lot at the bottom of the hill closer to the football stadium.  There’s usually a good amount of empty space there that you might be able to park shortly after 3:30 or just before that time in this area of the parking lot.
3.  Busses and cars cannot park in the bus canopy area.  Our school busses typically return to Northview and park there overnight/over the weekend, so that area has to be left empty for when they return.
If you are travelling here from far away and need somewhere to “hang out” for a little bit before coming to Northview because you’re arriving a little early, there is an outdoor mall area called The Forum about 15-20 minutes south on Hwy 141 (http://www.theforumonpeachtree.com/index.cfm) with shops and restaurants.
