[GFCA] GFVA Varsity State - March 1st Update

1) Invoices: You can print your invoice by clicking on the Print Invoice on the top right of your registration page.  If you are hiring judges and/or failed to enter judges, you have been charged for the hired judges and that should be reflected
on your invoice..  For those of you who did not attend the First & Second Year Tournament, you are required a judge bond - please bring a SEPARATE check for $100 to cover your judges.

2) Early Arrival: Please do not arrive before 3:30pm at Northview High School as school will still be in session. Registration will occur in or outside room 56.

3) Judge Prefs: Judge preferences will open in all debate divisions this afternoon (March 1st) at 5:00pm. Prefs will close March 3rd at 10pm.

4) Send Changes ASAP: Please send all changes to me as soon as you know them. For those who are not aware, all speech preliminary pairings are done prior to the tournament to ensure quality judging and entry placement.  This process takes a lot of
time and is affected by every drop.

5) PF/LD Topics: We are using the March topic (withdraw military presence from Okinawa) in Public Forum and the March/April topic (democracy promotion in the Middle East) in Lincoln Douglas.

6) Online Registration: We will again be offering online e-registration on Friday morning, 10am-12noon. Please try to take advantage of that process so that you will only need to pay and receive meal tickets on site.

Lastly, the tournament booklet and a revised schedule will be posted on Tabroom this afternoon.
