I am writing to encourage you to send some of your young women to the
Women's Debate Institute.  It is in Minnesota and runs from August 7-10.
http://womensdebateinstitute.org/  They teach both policy and LD.

I taught there a few years ago and am back again this year as a volunteer
because I believe in their mission.  Their goal is to help close the gender
gap in debate by connecting young women with positive role models (each girl
is assigned a year long mentor after the camp). The instruction is also just
very good.  Ana Nikolic, Carly Wunderlich, Christine Malumphy, and Kate
Shuster are a few of the teachers that might be familiar to Georgia
students.
