[GFCA] Area 1 Qualifying Tournament (All Events) Information

This is the schedule for Area 1 region qualifier tournament: For Debate (
Policy, LD, and PF )
Registration: 12:30-1:00
Round 1- 1:30
Round 2- 3:45
Quick dinner break
Round 3- 6:30
Round 4 (if necc.) 8:30

Fees and Registration- There will be a school fee of $35 to pay janitors
cost and food provided for coaches and students.  You will need to provide
one judge per 2 debate entries and one judge per 5 IE entries. Only a few
judges are available for hire at $100 per judge. Advanced confirmation for
hiring judges must be submitted via email to
matt.bartula at cherokee.k12.ga.us<mailto:matt.bartula at cherokee.k12.ga.us> by
Tuesday March 8, 2011, by 5:00 pm.

To Register: Please send me an email with studnt names and the event they
will be participating in. Many of you have done this already, but PLEASE DO
SO AGAIN. We want to send out a final list to all schools participating so
that everyone can verify their entries.

Speech events: Schedule will operate along the same lines as Debate.
However, we may not have enough entries to hold certain events. Will notify
you of which events will be held once all entries are submitted to me.

Submission deadline: Friday March 4th by 3:30. Please email with questions.
