[GFCA] Hardship Appeals

Coaches-

I hope this email finds you well!  The GFCA Varsity State Tournament will be
open for registration this Friday at noon.  We are waiting for final changes
of the site to be made by Joy of Tournaments, hence the delay.  You will
find helpful information throughout the site, but of course if you have any
questions don't hesitate to contact any GFCA officer.

According to the GFCA bylaws, applications for hardship appeals regarding
eligibility for the Varsity State tournament are due 10 days before the
actual tournament.  That is March 15. Please submit all appeals in writing
to Jeff Miller, GFCA Secretary.

If you are unfamiliar with the rule, here it is:

1.65 Hardship applications may be filed to attempt to establish eligibility
in the following situations:

(a) change in family marital or child custody status.

(b) undue family financial hardship.

(c) academic pursuit.

(d) religious exceptions.

(e) All other appeals will be submitted to the Executive Committee for
review.
