[GFCA] Area tournaments

Tomorrow represents the opening of the Area Qualifying tournament
window.  All 6 areas should offer an Area Qualifying tournament in each
event (unless there are some events for which there are zero entries in
your area) by March 15th.

 

Once your area has chosen a date and location for your Qualifier (or
Qualifiers if you are planning to have separate qualifiers for some
events), please send an e-mail to the GFCA Executive committee with the
relevant details for your tournament.  This would be date, location,
start time, and the contact person to register for the tournament.  Once
we have this information, we will post it on the GFCA website and send
out an e-mail to the listserv.

 

Additionally, once registration closes for your Area Qualifier, you
should send the names of registered entries to Jeff Miller so that the
GFCA can certify that all entries meet the minimum requirements of
having attended 2 in-state tournaments in the specific event(s) that
they are competing in at the State Qualifier.
