[GFCA] GFCA Executive Committee Elections - Nominations Open

Coaches,


Hope your April is going great - I know this can be a stressful time as most
of us prepare for EOCT's in the coming weeks.  The GFCA Executive Committee
is working out the details of the Spring Meeting and we hope to relay this
information to you in the next couple of days so you can plans to attend.



In the meantime, elections for the 2011-2012 GFCA Executive Committee will
be held in the coming weeks.  If you are interested in running for any
office or for nominating anyone for an office, please email Mario Herrera
at rioherrera at gmail.com and Jeffrey Miller at jmill126 at gmail.com by 3:00PM
on Friday April 22, so that he can include your name/their names on the
ballot, which will go out on Monday, April 25.



The following offices are up for election for the 2011-2012 school year.

* President
* Vice-President
* Secretary
* Treasurer

* Area 1 Coordinator

* Area 2 Coordinator

* Area 3 Coordinator

* Area 4 Coordinator

* Area 5 Coordinator

* Area 6 Coordinator


I have attached the language in the constitution regarding what the details
of each position entails.



A reminder: To vote in the election, your school must have paid its dues for
the 2010-11 school year before the deadline for submitting ballots (Friday,
April 29).  To check on that status you can visit this site:
http://thegfca.org/about/member-schools/


If your school's dues have not been paid, you can send them
to GFCA treasurer John McClellan at Warner Robins High School (401 South
Davis Dr, Warner Robins, GA 31088).
