That is correct.

 

However, these rules will be contained in the bylaws, which we still
have not fully approved.  I would encourage everyone to look through the
bylaws and consider which sections could be problematic for one reason
or another as we rapidly approach the time to vote on these new rules.
If there are sections that you have specific concerns about, please
contact either this listserv or the GFCA Board to express your concerns.
We want to have a set of rules that will do the most to support speech
and debate competition and coaches in this state.

Cheryl's correct - but to answer the At Large entry question from Matt -
it is my understanding that the partners simply have to have debated at
2 PF tournaments throughout the year to be eligible for the At-Large
Bid.

 

Remember you can only use the at large entry in Public Forum if you've
qualified no other entry in PF.
