[GFCA] Fayette Classic Registration Open!

The Fayette County debate tournament, held on January 7-8, 2011, is now open
for registration!

We are proud to announce that we have been named a 2010-2011 qualifying
tournament to the *National Individual Events Tournament of Champions* in *HI,
OO, DI, and DUO.*  All finalists will receive bids to the NIETOC in San
Antonio in May!  We've also been named a 2010-2011 qualifying tournament for
the *Tournament of Champions for Extemporaneous Speaking!* All elimination
round participants will receive bids to the Extemp TOC in Chicago in May!

*Important Change for 2011*:  All debate events will be held on *both* days!
We will be having five preliminary rounds in all debate events, and breaking
to the necessary elimination rounds.   Speech events will be held on
Saturday only.

You may be wondering why I'm sending this out so early...  The Fayette
Classic usually fills up a month before the tournament and we don't want
anyone left out who plans on attending!  The earlier registrations come in,
the better we can plan and try and negotiate with our county and school for
more building space :-)
