*Invitation – North Hall Autumn Classic*
Dear Colleague:
We are excited to extend to you and your students an invitation to the North
Hall Autumn Classic Debate Tournament to be held Saturday, September 25th,
2010. We will offer the following events: Two-person novice, JV, and
Varsity policy debate, Lincoln-Douglas debate, public forum, extemporaneous
speaking, impromptu, dramatic interpretation, humorous interpretation, duo
interpretation, and original oratory. We request that you follow the GFCA
resolution stating that "a novice debater should be a student who is
debating his/her first national high school resolution in high school
tournaments."
Please take the time to look at the tentative schedule enclosed in this
packet.
There are many hotels in the Gainesville area. We've included contact
information for many local options. Please feel free to search for other
options in the area. The hotels we've included are easily accessible off of
I-985.

You will need to specifically request hired judges. We will fill as many
hire requests as we can in the order they were received. Please be aware
that if you request judges near the tournament date, we may not be able to
meet your needs, so you should plan on filling as many judges as you
possibly can yourself.
Our team and parents are working very diligently to provide a quality
tournament. A coaches/judges hospitality room and concession stand will be
available. As always, we expect this year's tournament to run in a smooth
and timely manner. We hope to see you in September.

5:30 – Awards Assembly
Registration (coaches only please) will take place in the front lobby of
the school.
School Fee $20.00
Policy $35.00
Lincoln-Douglas Debate $15.00 per debater
Individual Events $20.00 per entry
Public Forum Debate $30.00
Hired judges $90.00 per 2 policy teams per division,
or 4 LDers or 2PF teams, or 5 IE entries, *or fraction thereof*.
Hired judges this year are *by request only*. We will fill all requests
that we can in the order that they are received. If you wait until the last
minute to request hired judges, we will do our best to accommodate you, but
we can't make any promises. Once you have requested the hired judge, you
have to pay for that judge unless you email me specifically and we can place
that judge elsewhere.
We would much rather have your judges than your money, so please plan to
bring as many judges with you as possibleJ
